Calcium Fluoride (CaF₂) is ideal for IR and UV optics due to its low refractive index change with wavelength. It is cheaper than Barium Fluoride and naturally occurring. Knight Optical offers quality CaF₂ lenses, stock or custom, tested for high standards, in sizes from 12.7mm to 38.1mm diameter.
